Education and Appointments:
Dr. Jingfu Liu is currently a professor of the State Key Laboratory of Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology, Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He graduated from Nanchang University in 1986, and received his MSc (Environmental Chemistry) and PhD (Environmental Sciences) from RCEES, CAS in 1992 and 20022, respectively. Dr. Liu finished his postdoctoral research in Lund University (Sweden) in 2006, and joined RCEES. Prof. Liu’s major research interests involve the environmental analytical methodology, and study the fate and bioavailability of persistent toxic substances. Dr. Liu has published over 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals.

Research Interest:

Analytical methodology and environmental processes/effects of persistent toxic substances

(1) Analysis of persistent toxic substances by using new techniques and new materials such as nanomaterials and ionic liquids

(2) Analytical methodology, environmental processes and effects of emerging contaminants such as engineered nanomaterials

(3)Mechanism environmental implications of the interaction between nanosized substance and persistent toxic substances
